Recently, men of color all over America have began to gather in large fashion hubs to combat negative images of black manhood. Nobody could have been prepared for the greatness that happened during the Black Menswear Flash Mob in Dallas, Texas. We admit, there was some fine brothers in the photo that quickly went viral; however, it was the little giant in the front who stole our hearts. We wanted to know more about this debonair, perfectly poised, pint-sized piece of perfection. Thus, the hunt for veteran model Harper Anthony began.
We could not believe our eyes! It is suspected that Harper prepared for this life in the womb! Even though the Flash Mob photo went viral in less than 24 hours, Harper has been in the game swagger attacking anything in his way since he was a small toddler. The successful runway and print ad model has nearly 20k followers between the mega social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram.
Harper, who is often seen photographed with superstars such as Dewayne Wade and social-media’s “Mr. Steal Your Grandma”, has the most pleasant, humble demeanor often receiving praise from all those whom he encounters. Judging by his photos, he doesn’t seem to shy away from his female fan base which makes him even more adorable!
The ladies are not the only ones who have been bitten by the Harper love bug. Recently, the iconic Timberland and Walgreen's sponsored a fashion event in which Harper amazed the audience with his maturity and stage presence. The Harper Anthony Collection is collaborating with photographer Amber Green to host the 1st Young Chicago Kings of Tomorrow Photoshoot. After the Black Menswear flash mobs, the young model and leader wants to join in continuing to change the narrative and show the world that the next generation of black youth are being groomed to act with power, integrity, and respect. The event will be August 25th from 4p-6p at 31st Street Harbor, Chicago, IL. Tickets are currently available on Eventbrite.
